If it wasn't clear from the views I've already espoused on this blog in regard to politics and culture, at this point in my life I consider myself a great many things which can broadly be categorized as "leftist." Specifically, I'm currently a big fan of Pyotr Kropotkin's anarchist communism. But this wasn't always the case, in fact it's a pretty recent development. Prior to this I had a period where I considered myself a "left-leaning centrist" and avoided politics most of the time, and before that (back in and immediately after high school) I was outright conservative. Today's subject is a comic by furry artist Chinpo, which has very little in the way of writing, comprising almost exclusively of filthy filthy sex. And this time around I'm not even being quite so ironic as usual in calling it "filthy," as the actions portrayed here consist of public exhibitionism, which aside from being illegal in most places is also a generally not-okay thing to do in real life since it means involving third parties into your sexual activity without their foreknowledge or consent. There's a seemingly endless deluge of titles fitting the template of "A [fetish] [fetish] [character] Book," usually with some lampshadedly-weak excuse plot to get straight to the titular [fetish]-[fetish]-[character] fucking, which is all well and good as far as I'm concerned. Alright, Physical Feedback's honeymoon period is over. It's time to start cracking down. I'm getting out the tear gas. Normally I prefer to focus on positive reviews rather than negative ones when I can, but with this series I've actually been looking forward to reviewing some of the shittier bits of smut out there, because I think pornography is badly in need of some serious negative criticism in places. In my experience, one of two things will stand in the way of this; People who view pornography as inherently problematic or inherently non-artistic who simply dismiss the art form as a whole without bothering to actually put forth any real analysis, which is obviously not productive, and people who like pornography and aren't interested in actually looking at it in a critical fashion, and will brush off any complaints about lack of quality with "don't take it so seriously, it's just porn."
